Are you registered and insured?
We wouldn't dream of operating if we weren't! Our purpose built commercial kitchen is registered with Wollondilly Shire Council, we have food handling accreditation and are fully insured.
How do I place an order?
Your cake design process begins by sending us an enquiry via the Contact page. Please include as much detail as possible in regard to design so that we can provide you with a quote ASAP
How much will my cake cost?
The cost of your cake will depend on the size, finish and complexity of design. Please get in touch for a quote which is tailored to your specific needs
Do you offer consultations?
Our preferred method of corresponding is via e-mail and phone, however we do understand that some clients may be more comfortable with face to face consultations, so these can be arranged. Due to the amount of enquiries we receive, appointments are available for weddings only.
Can I stop by and see your cakes?
As we do not have a shopfront and cakes are baked to order, unfortunately we have no cakes on display. For our latest work, please take a look at our social media pages
What size cake will I need?
Cake portions are available in two sizes; dessert, or coffee. Coffee sized portions is recommended when your cake is being served after dessert, or where other sweets will also be available. Dessert size portions is recommended where your cake is being served as the dessert course. The size of cake you require will be calculated based on your selected serving size
Do you offer tastings?
Absolutely! Cake tasting boxes are available on a nominated date once a month. Boxes contain eight flavours and are $60 each which includes express postage so you can enjoy in the comfort of your home at your leisure. Can I have more than one flavour?
For cakes with multiple tiers, of course! You are most welcome to select a different flavour for each tier.
Do you bake allergy friendly cakes?
As cakes are baked in a kitchen where allergens are present, unfortunately Baked Couture Cakes is not allergy friendly and does not offer gluten or allergy free options.
Can you replicate a design?
You are welcome to provide photos of cakes from other designers for inspiration, however we do not copy others’ work, so your design will be uniquely yours.
How far in advance can I book?
Bookings are taken up to 18 months in advance and quotes are valid for 7 days from date of issue. A non refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your order.
Do you deliver?
Absolutely! To ensure safe arrival of your cake, delivery and setup is available. The cost is dependant on the distance to the venue. We deliver to The Southern Highlands, Wollongong, Camden, Macarthur & Sydney.
